Arrive by Helicopter or Boat

The closest international airport to Fregate Isand Private is Seychelles International Airport on the island Mahé.
On landing at Mahe, you will go through customs for a quick entry into this beautiful country, the Fregate Island Private Team will meet you in the arrival hall, to accompany you with your baggage to the transfer shuttle to the helicopter base.

Whether you choose a 15-minute flight by helicopter to Fregate Island or enjoy the 1.5-hour boat trip from Mahé Island – subject to weather conditions – either route is ideal for a first taste of the true magnificence of our unique paradise island.

Helicopter Transfers
A short 15-minutes scenic-flight in a 4 seater helicopter (EC120) brings you from Mahé to Fregate Island. It is possible to fly from different islands such as La Digue, Praslin and more.

Boat Transfers
The transfer time by boat is always subject to the weather and sea condiations on the respective day, it will approximately take 90 minutes to get from Mahé, Eden Island Marina to Fregate Island.

Traveling by Private Jet
Fixed wing aircraft are not able to land on Fregate Island, however your private aircraft can land on the international airport and you then will be transferred by helicopter to Fregate Island Private, we recommend to book the helicopter pick-up at the VIP Lounge to ensure the most exlcusive and private arrival procedure.

Traveling by Private Yacht
It is possible to anchor your private yacht off Fregate Island. Our team will pick you up with one of our boats and bring you to the island. Please speak to our reservations team for more details.
